Jade Sails Cruise is one of the day cruises in Halong Bay making a brand new track in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, which is shown through both of its appearance and itinerary.

Jade Sails Cruise offers its guests the ultimate experience with 8 hours of cruising time, which also makes it the longest day cruise in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Starting earlier and finishing later, the Jade Sails gives you more time to explore the private corners of Lan Ha Bay, the quiet southern part of Halong Bay.

07.00 – 07.30 Our luxury shuttle bus reaches to pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
09.30 Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor then take a speedboat to Gia Luan harbor to embark the Jade Sails. Enjoy a welcome drink while listening to a cruise briefing.
11.00 A sumptuous lunch is served to you in the dining room. A live traditional Vietnamese musical performance is played during the meal makes your lunch unforgettable. The picturesque limestone mountains keep scrolling behind you outside the windows.
13.30 Cruise over to the Dark & Bright Cave area. Stop at a floating raft, where we step on a bamboo boat rowed by a local to head to Bright Cave. Here, you see a silent lagoon surrounded by limestone walls and highlighted with luxuriant trees.
15.00 The Jade Sails Cruise takes you to Tung Gau area, an ideal place for swimming and kayaking with over 400 islands surrounding. If this is the first time you try your hand with a kayak, do not worry, a quick instruction from our tour guide will set you up for your kayaking excursion.
16.00 Back to the Jade Sails Cruise, participate in our cooking class watching our chef showing you how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. After that, let go up to the sundeck, a small party during sunset, a moment when Lan Ha Bay shows its best beauty, is awaiting you there.
Do not miss to take advantage of the Happy hour at the bar to taste some of our drinks.
17.30 Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor, get on the luxury bus back to Hanoi to wonderfully end your day trip to Halong Bay.

Are drinks and beverages included in the cruise trip?

No, the drinks and beverages are not included in the cruise package. In general, you will be served a welcome drink, main meals are included and each cabin has 2 bottles of mineral water. Afternoon tea in the Sunset party is also complimentary. You can order free tea/coffee in meals but other drinks will be charged.

No, you can freely participate in the cooking class and be guided by our chief to make famous traditional Vietnamese dishes. The cooking class is at 4PM after the excursion in Tung Gau area, Lan Ha Bay.

Which caves will the cruise pass by?

In our full-day cruise, guests will have a chance to explore Dark & Bright Caves. After the brief introduction from our guide, you can use a local rowing boat or kayak through the stalagmite caves and admire the incredible rock formations.

Is a day cruise enough to see the bay?

With 8 hours of cruising time, Jade Sails Cruise guarantees an amazing itinerary to see the most fascinating spots of Lan Ha Bay. While many other day tours are only 6-7 hours, our cruise gives you plenty of time to discover even the farthest points of the bay.

Do I need to pay an extra fee when going kayaking?

No, you will not be charged any extra fee for kayaking or a local rowing boat. When you finish booking with us, your cruise tour package already includes the boating experience and entrance fees for sightseeing.

I have limited mobility, which excursions are best for me? Are there alternative activities?

For the guests who have limited mobility, you can still join the excursion to the Dark & Bright Cave. Our staff will assist you if there is any problem. In case you are not able to join any of the scheduled excursions, there are lots of activities to enjoy on board such as chilling in the Lounge bar & cafe, experiencing high-class spa service, and sunbathing on the Sundeck.

Can I bring my kids along?

According to the policy of Jade Sails Cruise, children under 4 years old are sharing a seat with parents. 4-10-year-old kids are applied to charge 70% of the price and share a seat and lunch with parents. Each pair of parents can bring a child, but if you have more children, the next child will have to pay the adult price. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can give you details about the policy and the extra cost.

What should I wear?

There is no specific dress code on Jade Sails, however, we recommend you choose the most comfortable outfit as the tour includes many excursions and entertaining services. One more piece of advice is that you should bring an extra swimming suit to jump into the fresh water in the lagoons.

What should I bring with me onboard?

Your original passport is required for the check-in process. Besides, you should bring sunglasses, sun cream for sunbathing on the Sundeck, a camera to capture the fun memories with Jade Sails Cruise, a swimming suit, insect repellant, and cash for personal expenses.
If you are traveling with young kids, toys, games, some sweets and snacks might be helpful.

Would it be possible to book a cruise during Tet?

Our tours fill up very quickly during Tet or other big holidays such as Christmas, and New Year, so it is suggested that you pre-book far in advance if you want to enjoy a cruise on these special occasions of the year.

Will I be picked up from my hotel in Hanoi? Does the cruise price include transfer from Hanoi?

Our Limousine will pick up/ drop off guests at hotels which are located around 5 km from Hoan Kiem Lake, including the Old Quarter. The transfer is already included in the tour packages.
