Lan Ha Bay is located southeast of Cat Ba Island and made up of over 300 karst islands and limestone sea rocks. Lan Ha Bay is a geological extension of Halong Bay and is equally as magnificent. However, it is less frequented, less populated, and hence has the atraction of being a more serene place.
Lan Ha Bay is located in the Gulf of Tonkin in the northeastern part of Vietnam.
