Sundeck & La Piscine
Sun lovers will enjoy time on the sundeck while soaking up the sun's gentle rays and enjoying a foot massage or sipping a cocktail. La Piscine swimming pool with private cabanas and 360-degree views is also an inviting site. This conditioned freshwater pool is the largest tourist one in the Gulf of Tonkin, with an area of 32m2, and 1.2m at the shallow end. Sun loungers and parasols are always available by the pool for you to get a tanned skin. The Heritage sundeck is a great place for light exercises in the morning, seeing galaxies with a telescope, or holding a wedding or birthday party. Enjoy epic views with specialty cocktails from the top-deck bar will be a memorable time.
L'Art de l'Annam
L'Art de l'Annam is an onsite special space dedicated to art. It was inspired by the 1933 book of the same name by Henri Gourdon, the first president of Indochina University. The book presents the objective point of view of a French who lived there for a long time. It was illustrated with important documentary photographs, helping readers better understand Annam society in the early 20th century, as well as the architecture, sculpture, paintings, and handicrafts of the country at the time. The Heritage L'Art de l'Annam has its exhibition with a gallery of the first works of artist Pham Luc, also known as the Picasso of Vietnam. Works of other famous Vietnamese artists and painters who graduated from Indochina Fine Arts School are also honorably exhibited here. In the art gallery, visitors will find their pleasure in viewing antique postcards, stamps, and original 20th-century photographs collected by the owners of Heritage Cruises. If required, we can organize art appreciation programs and auctions on this luxury ship.
White Lotus Spa
What the warm rays of the sun do to your body, our spa will do for your soul as well. White Lotus Spa is named after Vietnam's beautiful and pure national flower like the values that this place brings. With two private rooms on the top deck, silent and well-equipped, White Lotus Spa is a place where all the senses converge for enjoyment. Here a full range of holistic, restorative, and energetic treatments are provided by our skillful therapists.
Bach Thai Buoi Library
Let's visit the most exquisite floating library in Vietnam. The library is inspired by the spirit of Bach Thai Buoi, who was instrumental in developing the North's waterway transport in the early 20th century. The book-filled library is located upstairs, a comfortable setting to read and relax. Bach Thai Buoi Library has a rich collection of books on topics such as art, culture, architecture, artwork, literature, travel, and 1930s French Indochina. Here you can find books on Bach Thai Buoi, memories of the Red River, the secret history of King Bao Dai, paintings and life of Pham Luc, the Picasso of Vietnam, or the artbook "Vien Tham Vinh Bac Bo" written by Mr. Pham Ha, founder and owner of Heritage Cruises.
Van Don Shop
The shop is named after the most important trading seaport in Vietnam from the 12th to 16th centuries, which is located in the southeast of Halong Bay, a few miles from Cat Ba Islands, and lies on Bai Tu Long Bay. As far back as the 12th century, Van Don was a trading center for precious goods with merchant ships from across the region, such as Java (Indonesia), Siam (Thailand), Japan, India, and China. In our shop on the upper deck, you will find thoughtfully selected handcrafted products, silks, pearls, jewelry, and signature souvenirs specially designed for Heritage Cruises. Featured items here include pieces from talented local artisans. These items are a bridge to connect their communities to friends around the world. We believe that heritage tourism can boost the economic and civic vitality of a community or region.
Art Corridor - Heritage's Masterpiece
The wooden staircase in the middle which leads to the upper floors is Heritage's masterpiece. The staircase comes with beautiful paintings surrounding it and is always sparkling under the natural light of the sun and the moon pouring down from the skylight. The clever design of the skylight ensures that air flows throughout the ship. Lighted up in the evening, crystal chandeliers create a cozy atmosphere in the reception and lobby areas.
Outdoor Lounges
Our two outdoor lounges are designed for the greatest comfort, spaces for you to watch the sunrise or sunset. One is located at the stern of the ship, the other is at the bow, and both are on the top deck. In both lounges, guests have comfortable sun loungers and plenty of shade in the front, along with a well-stocked rooftop bar, perfect for luxury holiday evenings. The lounges are great for movie watching after dinner. We have a selection of the latest movies and classics about Vietnam and the region.
Red River Living Room
Named after the longest river in the north of Vietnam, the Red River living room with its nostalgic panoramic view takes us back in time to the 1930s. Originating in China, the Red River flows through the capital Hanoi and several provinces in northern Vietnam before emptying into the Gulf of Tonkin, forming the fertile Red River Delta. Located on the top deck, the perfect place to relax and watch life on both sides of the river during the trip. Lay yourself on a bench, in the gentle breeze, and enjoy the ever-changing landscape through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. This place is great for a favorite drink, afternoon tea, or relaxing with evening entertainment.
Gym
Vacations are all about taking time for yourself – and at Heritage Cruises, we believe you should be free to use that time for the activities you love. This is why our gym is special as it is for passengers who don't want to forget their exercise routine even while away from home. The floor-to-ceiling windows of this air-conditioned room are perfect for exercising while enjoying the incredible views of Halong Bay. Our gym is open 24 hours to perfectly fit your schedule.
Culinary
One of the world's most beloved gifts is food. Vietnamese food is no exception. Its flavors are prized for the freshness and unique blend of textures, flavors, and aromas. Aboard Heritage Cruises, this gift is presented to you like a culinary journey where you can enjoy food and beverages and relax. There are things and places for you to explore while cruising with us: restaurants, indoor and outdoor lounges, wine cellar, poolside bar & pool table...
Bach Dang wine cellar
Bach Dang is a river near Halong Bay and Cat Ba Islands where the famous Battle of Bach Dang River took place in 938 AD. At the battle, lord Ngo Quyen led his army to defeat the invading forces of the Chinese state of Southern Han. The victory ended centuries of Chinese imperial domination in Vietnam. Expected the strength of invaders, Ngo Quyen had set up massive sharpened stakes on the river bed. At high tide, the stakes were covered by water. As the Southern Han sailed into the estuary, Vietnamese force lured them to follow upstream. When the tide fell, the Southern Han warships were stuck in the stakes and sunk. Half of the invaders were killed and drowned, including their leader. Ngo Quyen's tactics were later reused in 1288 by Tran Hung Dao in another battle at Bach Dang River against the Mongols. Halong Bay has a cave named Dau Go (Wooden Stakes) which is said to be the place where Tran Hung Dao hid the stakes before the battle. Named after these famous battles, the Bach Dang wine cellar has a selection of wines with the meaning of victory. You can visit the cellar with our wine taster or captain to choose the best wine to complement your menu choice for dinner at Le Tonkin restaurant. We also offer guests the opportunity to enjoy dinner in the cellar, if space is available. Here the lights and magical surroundings create an intimate experience for any special occasion.
Le Tonkin Restaurant
Using the old name of Northern Vietnam during French Indochina, the decoration of Le Tonkin Restaurant, where your dinner is served, evokes nostalgia for the old Tonkin. Our cuisine has fresh and nutritious ingredients available and takes you on a culinary journey. Each meal is infused with creativity and served with passion. Our extensive wine list is handpicked by connoisseurs, in consultation with our chefs, to ensure that your wine selection matches the dishes from our kitchen. Whether you seek modern cuisine or classic perfection, our chefs are here to serve up a dining experience that is diverse, rich, and makes a lasting impression. With attention to detail, attentive service, and enthusiastic staff, a meal at Le Tonkin Restaurant gives you an unforgettable delicious experience.
L'Indochine Restaurant
Travel experience cannot complete without food. The culinary experience on Heritage Cruises inspires you to discover more about Vietnam. You not only enjoy new and classic flavors but also a taste of the culture of this beautiful land. L'Indochine restaurant is located on the top deck with stunning panoramic views. Guests can enjoy breakfast, brunch, and lunch indoors or out, at any time and place depending on their preferences. At Heritage Cruises, dining is not simply enjoying the food, it is a journey of culinary experience. Our menus are all designed by Chef King with high-end experiences involving local, Asian, and Western fusion cuisine.
Poolside Bar
The small ship has an intimate scale, giving you the private atmosphere of being in a floating house. You'll also have plenty of common spaces onboard where you can socialize with other guests. Exploring the wonder of nature aboard a cruise has its unique beauty and culture. With our onsite pool and poolside bar, your experience now becomes more special than ever. Soak up the sun, take a dip in the pool, or lounge on the poolside sun loungers for a refreshing drink while enjoying panoramic views of the unspoiled islands in Halong Bay. The well-stocked pool bar, open until late, features a fine selection of new and old-world wines as well as refreshing drinks and healthy snacks.

Malaysia"Love the cruise but the menu could be better, the veg menu were quite limited"
We really loved this experience, the accommodations and the view were amazing. However, the vegetarian options were minimal and not that good, despite us making them aware of our dietary restrictions ahead of time.

Japan"It's was amazing to see Halong onn such a nice cruise. totally level up the exp"
We were a bit late for the boat tour meeting time, so we didn't make it in time, but they had another boat ready for us. Thank you kindly. There was no Japanese-speaking personnel, but a female staff member translated for us on her mobile phone. That was quite useful and added to the enjoyment of my vacation.

Centra lAfrican"Lovely boat but one night cruise too short, next time I'll pick a longer itinerary"
I went on a one-night cruise in February. Beautiful boat and cabin, with our own balcony. I wish we had gone on a two-night cruise since the whole thing felt hurried. Arrived onboard at 13.00, settled into cabin, and checked out the next day at 09.00. It seemed like they couldn't wait to get rid of us. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

A wonderfully beautiful corner of the globe made even more pleasurable by Heritage Cruises' fantastic staff. The cuisine and day trips were both fantastic and well-organized. The yacht was wonderful overall, vintage sense of grandeur. Throughout, we were captivated by the stunning Vietnamese paintings. Special thanks to; Tam, Dung, Chi, Hue, Chiuh. (I hope I spelt that right.) Thank you so much to receptionist for making our stay absolutely memorable.

United States"One night is not enough! actually I can stay in my balcony and watch the bay forever"
My spouse and I have just enjoyed our 3D2N tour in Ha Long Bay with Heritage Cruises. First and foremost, the staff is extremely courteous and eager to assist you with whatever you want. Second, the Heritage cruise has always had the nicest appearance in the harbor, and the inside is excellent. The interior of the yacht was lavishly decorated, from the paintings to the comfortable beds. There are also lots of communal areas where you may relax without feeling crowded, or you can relax in your private balcony:) Finally, the cuisine was fantastic, with buffet lunches featuring a wide variety of options (fish, meat, vegetarian, and fruits) and six-course meals served each night. You will not want to leave this yacht once you arrive, so reserve at least two nights!

Sweden"My family had a good time with Heritage Cruises. We were even offered to try snake wine"
A fantastic vessel. The crew on board cannot do enough for you and are such beautiful, cheerful individuals. Listen to their talk, sharing,... extremely intriguing. I wish I could remember all of their names so I could leave a remark because they were all fantastic. We had two nights and three days. The food was delicious, and at the end of the five-course meal, they ask if you'd had enough and would like anything else. The boat is quite large and comfortable. It's not crowded at all, and you occasionally get the boat to yourself. Evenings are exceptionally quiet. Because it is such an early start in the mornings, most individuals eat dinner and then retire to their rooms. The cabins were very wonderful. It's wonderful to wake up to views of the bay. The mattresses and pillows were wonderful. The excursion out was fantastic, with a visit to a nearby hamlet and a calm cycling ride through the forest. The guide was fluent in English. I saw schools, local residences, people working hard in the fields, and water buffalo. We could have sampled snake wine, but we were too scared, so we didn't, although the person next to us said it tasted like aniseed. We went kayaking to a nearby beach. Extremely nice, however there was some trash on the beach. The pool on the second deck was fantastic. The loungers were quite comfortable. I would absolutely suggest this boat to anybody searching for a relaxing vacation.

Australia"Amazing stay on Heritage Cruises in Ha Long Bay. Highly recommended"
Heritage Cruises took us on a two-day one-night cruise around Halong Bay. It was an incredible journey! Our experience was flawless, right down to the last detail. The room was clean and spacious, as was the toilet. One of our favorite aspects of the accommodation was the private balcony. There's even a pool, culinary workshops, and squid fishing on the boat. The dinner was delicious, and the personnel was really kind and helpful. Heritage Cruises comes highly recommended. (9 points because my partner said the menu can be better)

Vietnam"Great trip tks. Excellent food, but a touch too fancy for us!"
A wonderful night on heritage cruise. The cabins looked great, have never stayed anyplace like it. Excellent food, but a touch too fancy for us! But we had a good time. A night with a bottle of wine. The entire experience was fantastic. The staff was great and went above and beyond. A special mention goes to our personnel Tracey.

United Kingdom"Fabulous experience in Gulf of Tonkin. Halong Bay worths the reputation"
Fantastic trip on board a magnificent ship with meticulous attention to detail. The swimming pool was a real treat. The day cruise was fantastic, with beautiful sites for kayaking and swimming and an informative town tour. The food on the cruise ship and on the day cruise was superb. I'm not sure why wine needs to be so pricey. It would be ideal if Dalat wine could be purchased by glass.
